WKU’s Brian Wragg and Ivor Thomas were invited to attend the Wado International Karate FederationWorld Championships on Saturday and Sunday 21st/22nd September at the K2 centre in Crawley.

This was the first time that the event had been held in this country and took two years planning.

With 22 countries and over 700 athletes participating, it was a busy weekend on the Tatamis.

Brian officiated a number of Repercharge Finals and Ivor officiated in a number of Team and Individual Finals so a successful weekend for WKU officials.
